Hanami and Karaoke

Hanami has hit Tokyo. Hana = flower, and mi= to see. To see flowers. It's the season when all the cherry trees blossom, and everything turns bright pink or white. It's tradition to picnic beneath this ocean of flowers, preferably close to a river. Not knowing many locals, we were lucky that our Renting Agency hosted a hanami picnic for people in the same situation. So, we went, we ate, and drank- and met some interesting people. And then they thought it was such a shame that we haden't yet been to a karaoke bar- that they just had to take us.
And we found out why you shouldn't have more than 2-hour-karaoke-with-all-you-can-drink-sessions at a time. And we ended up- at some point- in the karaoke room that they used in the film "Lost in Translation" !
And then we found out that fylla-food is dead hard to aquire in a country where eating on the streets is prohibited and store freezers are reserved solely for ice-cream. So, 8 a.m. we went home.
And slept till four.

A real Hanami Hangover, you could say. Oh, we're going straight to Tourist Hell.
